Red Cross Assistant Water Safety
Instructor
15 years and older

Candidates learn about the foundation of
instructional skills including teaching methods, learning styles, physical
principles, progressions, communication, safety supervision and feedback.

Course length: 30 hours plus 8 hours of practice
teaching.

This course is a requirement for the Red Cross
Water Safety Instructor Program.
